"Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here!" Amidst the summer heat of St. Louis, we will devote six Tuesday evenings to Dante Allighieri's classic, The Inferno. This masterwork forever formed the Western conception of hell, sin and damnation. Led by Pastor Emily, we will gather in the library to read and discuss the theology behind Dante's compelling poetry and wrenching images. The course will run from 6:30 until 8pm, on June 8, June 15, June 22, July 6, July 13 and July 20th. Childcare will be available, and it is recommended that you purchase a copy of The Inferno through the St. Tim's office -sign up for both in the Gathering Space or call the church office at 314-434-5906. |
