Adult Forum Schedule - Spring 2014
Every Sunday at 9:30am the Adult Forum Committee presents opportunities for the St. Timothy’s community to consider their lives through the lens of biblical scholars, contemporary issues, current church politics, and our life together as Christians. All presentations are given in the Fellowship Hall unless otherwise noted.
Sunday, Jan 12
The Rev. Stratton, Program Director of Deaconess Anne House
The Rev. Stratton will give us an update on Deaconess Anne House in north St. Louis. The Deaconess Anne House is a member of The Episcopal Service Corps, a federation of young adult service corps, dedicated to intentional community, spiritual formation, and service to the community.
Sunday, Jan 19
The candidates for Vestry, Convention Delegates and Endowment Trustee will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and share what gifts they might bring to these ministries. This provides an excellent opportunity to prepare for the Annual Meeting as an informed voter.

The Relationship between the Arts & Spiritual Formation
We are sometimes accused of being far too left-brained, verbal, and linear in our attempts to understand God’s life. Exploring the arts, often called the “language of the soul,” opens up a whole new path to spiritual life. Facilitated by Jim McCollough, PhD, professor at Lindenwood University
Sunday, February 16th

This always-popular forum will be facilitated by the Youth of St. Timothy’s

Same Gender Couples Blessing - Changes over the past few decades have caused the church to re-visit the ever-evolving theology of marriage. This work not only informed the Standing Commission's creation of the liturgy we now use in the church for same gender couples, which we will look at, but it continues in the work of the national "Task Force on the Study of Marriage." Facilitated by Heidi Clark.
