For grades 7 & 8
Rite 13 assists young people in taking their first steps from their families into their own lives.
The individuality of each young teen and their creative potential is celebrated while exploring Biblical stories of God and God's people.
The group forms a community, encouraging the gift of friendship, and creating a safe place to explore new ideas, interests and abilities.
The Rite-13 liturgy, Celebration of Manhood and Womanhood, is the community expression of this and serves as a rite of passage from childhood towards adulthood.
Rite 13 participates in various outreach opportunities such as:
- Hard boiling eggs for the homeless
- Operation Clean Street (keeping Mason Road litter-free)
Rite 13 meets Sunday mornings, 9:15-10:15
