Sunday Worship
Family Worship 9:00 a.m.
Our 9:00 a.m. service is oriented toward families, especially those with young children, and those looking for a more contemporary style. It lasts about 40 minutes, and hymns are accompanied by acoustic guitar, with additional instruments occasionally.
Traditional Service 10:45 a.m.
Our 10:45 a.m. service is Rite II, with traditional service music generally from the Hymnal 1982, and the familiar service structure. Sunday Evenings:
St. Timothy's & St. Peter's Youth League
St. Tim's Middle and High School students gather with the youth from St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Sunday evenings from 5 - 6 p.m. at St. Peter's in Ladue from September through May. Clergy have created an exciting program that allows these young people to hang out, do service projects, ask questions about the Church, about God, and learn more about what it means to have faith and be Episcopalian in this growing and changing world!
- Adult Bible Study - Held in the library. Please check the schedule listed in our Tim's Times weekly parish e-mail or call the office for details.
- First Sundays - We gather between the services on the first Sunday of every month in Fleming Hall for “First Sundays.” We enjoy a continental breakfast featuring products made by Bridge Bread Bakery and share a time of fellowship, reflection, and prayer.
- Donuts and Coffee in the Gathering Space. Grab a cup and meet some new friends!
From September to May:
- Sunday School - Classes for children ages 4 - 18 meet every week in the upstairs classrooms in the education wing from September through May. We offer classes for 3 age groups: Age Ready 4 - 2nd Grade, 3rd - 5th Grade, and Middle & High School students. More information is available on the bulletin board in the Gathering Space or please speak to Mother Meghan or Erlinda Perlado-Mertens about opportunities for your children and grandchildren.

Parents, our St. Tim's Nursery is ready for your child!

Our St. Tim's Nursery is open on Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. - Noon, which includes both services as well as all activities between services (Sunday School, Bible Study, First Sundays, etc.). The Nursery is available for infants through preschool-age children. Our wonderful Nursery teachers are professional staff (backgound checked) and will take great care of your children. |
Event Reminders
Confirmation and Reception Classes
The Rev. Meghan Ryan will lead classes this summer for those who would like to solidify their Christian commitment in the Episcopal Church. The classes will prepare candidates for either Reception or Confirmation:
- Reception is the process by which people who have been baptized in another Christian faith decide to be affiliated with the Episcopal Church and make a public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their baptism in the presence of a bishop.
- Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the candidates express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop.
These classes will be held between our Sunday services from 9:45 - 10:30 a.m. on June 28, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9. A make-up class will be held on August 16 for anyone who has to miss a class. We will meet in the youth lounge on the lower level. Child care is available.
We will celebrate Confirmation and Reception with Bishop Johnson on Sunday, August 23 at the combined 10 a.m. service. Please contact The Rev. Meghan Ryan or the St. Tim's Office to sign up or for more information. Please join us!
Women's Book Group Meets Next on July 14

The St. Tim's Women's Book Group is currently reading Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. They will meet on Tuesday, July 14 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the book.
Psychiatrist Viktor Frankl's memoir has riveted generations of readers with its descriptions of life in Nazi death camps and its lessons for spiritual survival. Based on his own experience and the stories of his patients, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose. At the heart of his theory, known as logotherapy, is a conviction that the primary human drive is not pleasure but the pursuit of what we find meaningful. Even when the books are serious, our discussions are informal and fun. We enjoy snacks and beverages as we share how the book affected us. Please join us! |
