Strategic Plan
St. Timothy’s Strategic Plan Committee was formed in July of 2018. The members were Jon Hotra (chair), Leslie Corey, Kim Dressel, Tim Johnson, Michael Spung, Rick Sharp, Dennis Whittington, and The Reverend Marvin Foltz. The committee studied the results from the CAT survey held earlier in the year and focused on the top priorities identified by the 160 responses to the survey. Additional research was conducted including interviews with a variety of parishioners and parish ministries, community representatives, The Reverend Joe Chambers (then Canon to the Ordinary of our Diocese), and books and articles relating to church planning and growth.
The plan was recommended to the Vestry in May. After discussion a subcommittee was formed to revise the goals to reflect the Vestry’s input. It then worked with the various ministries involved to refine the tactics related to the goals.
The Vestry approved the Strategic Plan in October 2019. Going forward the Vestry will review the implementation progress monthly and respond as necessary to ensure the plan is implemented or revised as necessary in response to changing events.
